Princess Kaguya in Taketori Monogatari

- Taketori Monogatari, or The Tale of Bamboo Cutter, is regarded as Japan's oldest story, in which the heroine Princess Kaguya borns out from a bamboo stem. There is a theory that the writing is set in today's Koryo area in Nara.
