Horyo Radish

The Horyo radish is a local variety of daikon radish native to the Horyo area in Jimokuji Town. It is recorded that the cultivar had been dealt in at the Shimo-odai vegetable market, once operated in the old Nishibiwajima Town area, since no later than the early 1840s.
