Mirages on Toyama Bay

 𝄇

Toyama Bay is known for appearances of two types of mirages: winter type mirages, also called as inferior mirages, often sighted from the western coast including Himi City during all seasons, and spring type mirages, or superior mirages, which can be observed only 5 to 25 times in spring and early summer from the eastern coast including Uozu City, where daily chance-of-mirage forecasts are announced during the seasons.
